Thinking of joining the Conflict Evolution Council?

There are many advantages to being a member of CEC.

Council members:

share knowledge and skills member-to-member
pool wisdom gained from their experiences within the Red Lodge community
learn new skills at special trainings provided for by the WWRL budget
network with professionals in related fields

In addition, CEC members serve the Red Lodge community in fulfilling ways:

vision the concept of conflict evolution and the role of the CEC
seek out new communication skills
share new skills with the community at WWRL gatherings or in special workshops
tend and build sustainable relationships within Red Lodge by being available:

for one-on-one conversations,
as a compassionate witness at difficult meetings
to co-facilitate or be present at Listening Councils

No previous training is required to be a member of CEC. And all previous training in Non-Violent Communication, Compassionate Listening, Paradox Management, and Mediation is welcomed. Writing skills are also valued, because members develop written materials, manuals, and how-to templates for use within CEC and distribution throughout WWRL.
